Description

CML Micro CMX90G301 Positive Gain-Slope Amplifiers

CML Micro CMX90G301 Positive Gain-Slope Amplifiers operate in the 1.4GHz to 7.1GHz frequency range for various wireless applications. The CMX90G301 low-power 50Ω cascadable MMIC gain block offers a positive gain slope of +1dB across the band. This eliminates the requirement for equalization and compensates for increasing system losses with frequency.

The highly integrated CML CMX90G301 positive gain-slope amplifiers minimize component count and board area resulting in an easy-to-use device. The RF ports are matched on-chip to 50Ω with DC blocking capacitors on the CMX90G301. Furthermore, an active bias circuit permits the device to operate over a wide supply voltage of 2.7V to 5V with a typical current of 22mA. The amps utilize a GaAs pHEMT to provide a combination of low DC power, low noise, and high gain.

The CMX90G302 is available for applications that require more gain-slope compensation.
