Würth Elektronik WL-VCSL Vertical Cavity Surface Lasers are an emitter for 940nm wavelength homogeneous light and offer high optical power output. The homogeneous light that is emitted displays radiation patterns of 60° x 45° and 110° x 85°. These lasers feature a robust package with low thermal resistance and offer a different field of view due to the special diffused silica glass. The WL-VCSL vertical cavity surface lasers are used in applications such as biometric identification, 3D recognition, LiDAR time of flight, autonomous robotics, and autonomous industry.
