Vishay / Sprague STH SuperTan® Wet Tantalum Capacitors

Vishay / Sprague STH SuperTan® Wet Tantalum Capacitors provide enhanced performance with military H-level shock and vibration capabilities. The series also achieves increased thermal shock capability of up to 300 cycles. The robust, high-reliability design features hermetic glass-to-metal seals, an insulating sleeve, and tin/lead axial terminations in a D-size package. Vishay / Sprague STH SuperTan Wet Tantalum Capacitors operate in a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C and up to +125°C with voltage derating. Additional features include 880μF or 1200μF capacitance with ±20% tolerance and a low equivalent series resistance (ESR) of 500mΩ or 600mΩ. Typical applications include avionics, aerospace, oil drilling and underwater equipment, power supplies, actuators, transponders, and radio, radar, and military systems.
