u-blox EVK-ANNA-B402 Evaluation Kit is a demonstration and development platform for the ANNA-B402 BLUETOOTH® 5.1 Module (Open CPU). The ANNA-B402 combines Bluetooth 5.1, an embedded Arm® Cortex®-M4 Microcontroller with FPU, and an integrated antenna into a compact 6.5mm x 6.5mm System in Package (SiP). The ANNA-B402 Module is based on the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52833 chip. With 512kB flash and 128kB RAM, this device offers the necessary capacity for advanced applications developed with Open CPU architecture and the Nordic SDK. Wired interfaces like UART, USB, SPI, I2C, I2S, and GPIO are available to connect peripheral devices.
The u-blox EVK-ANNA-B402 Evaluation Kit is offered in two variants. The EVK-ANNA-B402C includes the ANNA-B402 Module with an internal 2.4 GHz antenna (integrated into the SiP). The EVK-ANNA-B402U includes the ANNA-B402 Module and a U.FL antenna connector for external antennas.
The EVK-ANNA-B402 Evaluation Kit provides access to the 33 GPIO pins and interfaces supported on ANNA-B4 modules. The interfaces are available through various connectors, including Arduino Uno R3 and Raspberry Pi header connectors. The Evaluation Kit also supports simple USB drag-and-drop programming and a SEGGER J-Link debug interface.
