The Verdin module offers an interface pinout that enables direct connection of real-world I/O ports without crossing traces or traverse layers, called Direct Breakout™.

The Verdin family of SoMs offers a versatile and flexible solution for powering various devices. With its wide input voltage range, the Verdin SoM can be easily powered from various power sources, including a USB power supply or a single lithium cell. The I/O voltage level of the Verdin SoM has been optimized to meet the increasing demand for more power-efficient devices. This optimization has led to a decrease in voltage levels from 3.3V to 1.8V. This voltage reduction offers several benefits, including a simpler and more cost-efficient power supply design for Verdin carrier boards. These features make the Verdin family of SoMs an excellent choice for battery-powered applications. The devices provide a low-power, energy-efficient solution perfectly suited to meet the demands of modern-day electronics.
