Texas Instruments TPS7H4001QEVM-CVAL Converter Evaluation Module (EVM) demonstrates how four TPS7H4001-SP buck converters can be configured in master/slave mode to provide a regulated power rail capable of load current up to 72A to support typical ASIC and FPGA applications. The evaluation module is configured in a default state to accept a 5V input. Still, it can be modified to disable or change the under-voltage lockout (UVLO) protection, allowing for an input voltage from 3V to 7V. The evaluation module is also configured for a 1V output. The regulated output voltage can be modified by changing one resistor on the board. The Texas Instruments TSP7H4001-SP has dedicated soft-start, enable, and adjustable slope compensation pins providing design flexibility to meet specific application requirements.
