Texas Instruments TPS62816EVM-140 Converter Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments TPS62816EVM-140 Converter Evaluation Module (EVM) is designed to help evaluate and test the operation and functionality of the TPS62816-Q1. The TPS62816-Q1 device is a high-frequency, synchronous, step-down converter optimized for a small solution size and high efficiency. The devices focus on high-efficiency, step-down conversion over a wide output current range. At medium to heavy loads, the converter operates in PWM mode. It automatically enters Power Save Mode operation at light load to maintain high efficiency over the entire load current range. The Texas Instruments TPS62816EVM-140 converts a 2.7V to 6.0V input voltage to a regulated 1.8V output voltage that delivers up to 6A.

Features

  • 2.7V to 6.0V input voltage range
  • 0.6V to 5.5V adjustable output voltage
  • An adjustable switching frequency of 1.8MHz to 4MHz
  • 15μA operating quiescent current
  • Power save mode for light-load efficiency
  • 100% duty cycle for lowest dropout
