Texas Instruments TPS568236 Synchronous Buck Converter

Texas Instruments TPS568236 Synchronous Buck Converter is an integrated, monolithic, synchronous buck converter with adaptive on-time D-CAP3™ control mode. This converter offers integrated low RDS(on) power MOSFETs that allow high efficiency and ease of use with minimum external component count for space-constrained power systems. The D-CAP3 control mode allows low external component count, ease of design, and optimization of the power design for cost, size, and efficiency. The TPS568236 buck converter features an accurate reference voltage, fast load transient response, auto-skip mode operation for light load efficiency, and forced PWM mode. This buck converter features an adjustable soft start and provides OVP, UVP, OCP, OTP, and UVLO protection.

The TPS568236 buck converter operates from a 4.5V to 18V input voltage range (VIN) and a 0.6V to 5.5V output voltage range. The buck converter is available in a thermally enhanced 12-pin QFN package and operates from -40 °C to 125°C junction temperature range. Typical applications include TV, STB, Point-Of-Load (POL), server, storage, networking point-of-load, industrial PC, and factory automation devices.
