Texas Instruments TPS568231 Synchronous Buck Converter

Texas Instruments TPS568231 Synchronous Buck Converter is an easy-to-use, high-efficiency converter with an adaptive on-time D-CAP3™ control mode. The TPS568231 requires few external components and is well-suited for space-constrained data center applications.

The TI TPS568231 converter provides competitive features, including a very accurate reference voltage, fast load transient response, and no requirement for external compensation. Additionally, the device offers an adjustable current limit and an Ecomode and FCCM operation modes for selection at light-load condition through the configuration of the MODE pin. To attain high efficiency at a light load, Eco-mode can be selected. To support tight output voltage ripple requirements, FCCM can be chosen.

The TPS568231 operates from -40°C to +125°C junction temperature and is available in an 18-pin HotRod™ QFN package.
