Texas Instruments TPS566231PEVM Converter Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TPS566231PEVM Converter Evaluation Module (EVM) is used to evaluate the TPS566231P device, a high-voltage input, synchronous buck converter with integrated FETs. One of the key features of the TPS566231P is its ULQ (ultra-low quiescent) to enable low-bias current. This feature is extremely beneficial for long battery life in low power operation. The TPS566231P operates with a wider supply input voltage ranging from 3V to 18V. It uses DCAP3™ control mode to provide a fast transient response, good line, load regulation, no requirement for external compensation, and supports low ESR output capacitors. The Texas Instruments TPS566231P is a high-efficiency converter and provides complete protection OVP, UVP, OCP, OTP, and combined power-good signal.

Features

  • 3V to 18V input voltage range
  • 0.6V to 7V output voltage range
  • Up to 6A output current
  • PSM with high efficiency at light loading
  • PGOOD indicator
  • 2mm × 1.5mm RQF package
