Texas Instruments TPS543B22EVM Converter Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TPS543B22EVM Converter Evaluation Module (EVM) is designed to evaluate the TPS543B22. The TPS543B22 is a synchronous buck converter, integrating both power MOSFETs with a low drain to source resistance to minimize solution size and provide high efficiency at full load. The TPS543B22EVM uses fixed frequency advanced current mode control with low minimum on-time for high switching frequency to minimize solution size and achieve a fast transient response.

This evaluation module includes two designs with the Texas Instruments TPS543B22. The first design demonstrates the small printed-circuit-board areas that can be achieved when designing with the TPS543B22 regulator. The small area design fits within 275mm2. The second design shows the high efficiency achieved when designing with the TPS543B22 regulator. The second design also includes jumpers that can easily evaluate the features of the TPS543B22.
