Texas Instruments TPS543320EVM Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments TPS543320EVM Evaluation Module offers two circuits, one designed to demonstrate a small solution area and one designed to evaluate the TPS543320 quickly. The TPS543320 is a high-efficiency 18V, 3A synchronous buck converter employing an internally-compensated, fixed-frequency Advanced Current Mode control. The device is capable of providing high efficiency while running at a switching frequency up to 2.2MHz. The high-side and low-side MOSFETs are incorporated inside the TPS543320 package along with the gate-drive circuitry.

The TI TPS543320EVM Evaluation Module’s first design is intended to demonstrate the small printed-circuit-board areas that may be achieved when designing with the TPS543320 regulator. The small area design fits within 100mm2. The second design demonstrates the high efficiency that can be achieved when creating with the TPS543320 regulator. The second design also includes jumpers that can be used to evaluate the features of the TPS543320 easily.
