Texas Instruments TPS389C0XEVM Supervisor Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TPS389C0XEVM Supervisor Evaluation Module (EVM) is a platform for evaluating the TPS389C0x device, which is an integrated multichannel overvoltage and undervoltage supervisor with Q&A watchdog and I2C programmability available in a 16-pin WQFN package. TPS389C0XEVM evaluates the 3-channel TPS389C03-Q1 multichannel supervisor. The device defaults to the preprogrammed OTP options but can be reprogrammed via I2C for different watchdog timing, threshold voltages, and tolerance percentages. The evaluation module includes the I2C interface plug, LDOs to create multiple rail voltages, and specially placed jumpers on the evaluation module board for maximum flexibility. The evaluation module is designed to work with other variants of Texas Instruments TPS389C0xQ1 (up to six channels).

Features

  • Q&A Watchdog to monitor SoC software operation
    • Programmable OPEN/CLOSE watchdog timing via I2C
    • Start-up delay for SoC boot-up initialization
