Texas Instruments TLV709 LDO Linear Voltage Regulators are low-quiescent current devices that offer the benefits of a wide input voltage range and low-power operation in miniaturized packaging. The TLV709 is optimized to power microcontrollers and other low-power loads for battery-powered applications.
The TLV709 LDO typically supports a low dropout of 600mV at 100mA of load current. The low quiescent current (3.2µA typically) does not vary across the entire range of output load current (0mA to 150mA). The TLV709 also features an internal soft-start to lower the inrush current during start-up. The built-in overcurrent limit protection helps protect the regulator in the event of a load short or fault condition.
The Texas Instruments TLV709 is available in a 2.90mm × 1.60mm, 5-pin SOT-23 (DBV) package for fixed and adjustable outputs and a 4.50mm × 2.5mm, 3-pin SOT-89 (PK) package for fixed outputs.
