Texas Instruments TLC6A598EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) helps users evaluate the operation and performance of the TLC6A598. The TLC6A598 is a power logic 8-bit shift register. The device contains a built-in voltage clamp on the outputs for inductive transient protection. Each of the open-drain DMOS transistors features an independent chopping current limiting circuit to prevent damage in a short circuit.
