Texas Instruments THVD4431EVM Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments THVD4431EVM Evaluation Module is designed to demonstrate the THVD4431 easily. The THVD4431 is an RS-485/RS-232 multiprotocol transceiver that supports full and half duplex RS-485 and 3T5R RS-232 configurations. The TI THVD4431EVM Evaluation Module also employs loopback modes for RS-232 and RS-485 to enable on-chip diagnostic testing.

Features

  • Eight additional power-supply decoupling capacitor pads for VCC and VIO connections
  • 0603 resistor pads available to create resistive links between GND and EARTH connections for both VIO and VCC terminals
  • THVD4431RHA preinstalled onto the evaluation module
  • Terminal and header pin access to RS-232 and RS-485 bus signals
  • Indicators for control and data signals (VIO> = 3.3V only)
