Texas Instruments LP5812 RGB LED Drivers

Texas Instruments LP5812 RGB LED Drivers are 4 x 3 matrix drivers with I2C and autonomous animation engine control. These drivers generate a 6MHz clock signal and use it to synchronize the lighting effects among multiple devices. The LP5812 drivers feature individual LED dot open/short detection and integrated de-ghosting function. These LED drivers operate at a 2.7V to 5.5V voltage range and a -40°C to 85°C temperature range. The LP5812 drivers are ideal for portable and wearable, gaming and home entertainment, Internet-of-Things (IoT), networking, and industrial HMI.

The LP5812 RGB LED drivers with an autonomous animation engine feature can significantly reduce the real-time loading of the controller. These drivers offer 0.4mA typical ultra-low regular operation current when illuminating LEDs. The LP5812 drivers offer four different material versions with different I2C chip addresses. These drivers support both analog dimming and PWM dimming.
