Texas Instruments LMG362x GaN FETs

Texas Instruments LMG362x GaN FETs are compatible with the most common topologies in AC-DC power conversion. These FETs feature programmable turn-on slew rates that provide EMI and ringing control, while the current-sense emulation reduces power dissipation compared to the traditional current-sense resistors. This reduction allows the low-side thermal pad to be connected to the cooling PCB power ground. The LMG362x FETs support converter light-load efficiency requirements and burst-mode operation with fast start-up times and low quiescent currents. These GaN FETs offer multiple protections, including Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle limit, and over-temperature. Typical applications include AC-DC adapters/chargers, AC-DC USB wall outlet power supplies, AC-DC auxiliary power supplies, mobile wall charger design, USB wall power-outlets, and auxiliary power supplies.
