Texas Instruments LM25143/LM25143-Q1 Dual Synchronous Buck DC/DC Controller is derived from a family of wide-VIN range controllers ideal for high-current single or dual outputs. The LM25143 utilizes an interleaved, stackable, peak current-mode control architecture for easy loop compensation, fast transient response, excellent load and line regulation, and accurate current sharing with paralleled phases for higher output current. Large step-down ratios provided by the high side switch (with a minimum on-time of 65ns) enable direct conversion from 12V or 24V inputs to low-voltage rails for reduced system complexity and cost.
The TI LM25143/LM25143-Q1 Dual Synchronous Buck DC/DC Controller continues to operate during input voltage dips as low as 3.5V, at nearly 100% duty cycle if required. The device supports a 15μA no-load quiescent current with the output voltage in regulation, extending operating time in battery-powered systems. Additionally, powering the LM25143/LM25143-Q1 from the switching regulator’s output or another available source allows for even lower input quiescent current and power loss. The LM25143-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
