Texas Instruments DACx3202 Precision Digital-to-Analog Converters

Texas Instruments DACx3202 Precision Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) are a pin-compatible family of dual-channel, buffered, voltage-output, and current-output smart DACs. The DAC63202 is a 12-bit device and the DAC53202 is a 10-bit device. The DACx3202 devices support Hi-Z power-down mode and Hi-Z output during power-off conditions. The outputs for these DACs provide a force-sense option for use as a current sink and a programmable comparator. The multifunction GPIO, NVM, and function generation enable these smart DACs for design reuse and processor-less applications. These devices contain an internal reference and automatically detect PMBus, SPI, and I2C interfaces.

The feature set combined with low power and the tiny package makes these Texas Instruments DACx3202 smart DACs an excellent choice for applications such as dc set-point for biasing and calibration, voltage margining and scaling, and waveform generation.
