Texas Instruments CDCDB800EVM Clock Buffer Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments CDCDB800EVM Clock Buffer Evaluation Module (EVM) is for the evaluation of the CDCDB800. The CDCDB800 is an 8-output LP-HCSL, DB800ZL compliant, clock buffer. This buffer can distribute the reference clock for PCIe® Gen 1 to Gen 5 application, QuickPath Interconnect (QPI), UPI, SAS, and SATA interfaces. The SMBus interface and eight outputs enable pins to allow the configuration and control of all eight outputs individually. The CDCDB800 is a DB800ZL derivative buffer and meets or exceeds the system parameters in the DB800ZL and DB2000Q specifications. The Texas Instruments CDCDB800EVM also allows the user to verify the functionality and performance specifications of the CDCDB800 and after the rework, the CDCDB803.

Features

  • Easy-to-use evaluation board to fan out low-phase noise clocks
  • Simple, fast device configuration and setup
  • 8 LP-HCSL outputs with integrated 85Ω output terminations
  • 8 hardware output-enable (OE#) controls
