Texas Instruments bq27Z746EVM-047 Battery Manager Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments bq27Z746EVM-047 Battery Manager Evaluation Module (EVM) is a complete system for evaluating the bq27Z746 battery manager. The evaluation module includes bq27Z746 with integrated protection circuit module and a link to Windows® based PC software. The bq27Z746 integrated circuit (IC) and all onboard components are provided to monitor critical cell parameters and predict cell capacity and state of health. It also protects the cells from overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit, and over-current in 1-series cell Li-Ion or Li-polymer battery packs.

The Texas Instruments bq27Z746EVM can read bq27Z746 data registers, program bq27Z746 for different pack configurations, and log cycling data for further evaluation. It can also evaluate the overall functionality of the solution under different charge and discharge conditions using an I2C communication protocol, EV2400, and bqStudio software GUI.
