Texas Instruments BQ2572xEVM Evaluation Modules

Texas Instruments BQ2572xEVM Evaluation Modules are SMBus or I2C-controlled NVDC-1 buck-boost chargers with an input voltage range from 3.5V to 26V. The BQ25720EVM and BQ25723EVM Evaluation Modules have a programmable output of 1–4 cells and a charge output current range of 64mA to 8.128A. The Evaluation Modules do not include the EV2400 interface device; this will have to be ordered separately to evaluate the BQ25720EVM and BQ25723EVM.

  • Supports 5mohm current sense for high current, high efficiency
  • TI patented switching frequency dithering pattern for meeting IEC-CISPR 32 EMI specification
  • TI patented pass-through mode (PTM) achieving 99% efficiency
