TE Connectivity VOLINSU EV Dual Wall Heat Shrink Tubings

TE Connectivity’s VOLINSU EV Dual Wall (EVDW) Heat Shrink Tubings are specifically designed to insulate and protect high-voltage conductive components and cables for operational reliability. These tubings are manufactured using a flame-retardant material with excellent insulation and electrical properties to allow use over both simple and intricate shapes. The EVDW heat shrink tubings make use of orange color (RAL-2003 color) to meet EV visual requirements and exhibit a 3:1 shrink ratio. These heat-shrink tubings offer high dielectric strength and withstand harsh environment tests of high conditional reliability following abrasion, heat aging, and water immersion.

These dual wall tubings’ electrical and mechanical properties are uncompromised after 168hrs at 158°C (per ASTM D2671), ensuring good thermal stability. The EVDW tubings are available in sizes designed to work with the cable and component sizes used in the power train of electric vehicles. These tubings are used in automotive, industrial and commercial transportation, charge inlets, electric control units, electric driving systems, and harness in charge stations.
