TE Connectivity / Holsworthy BMC Series Multilayer Ferrite Beads

TE Connectivity’s (TE) / Holsworthy BMC Series Multilayer Ferrite Beads feature a monolithic inorganic material construction that reduces the effect of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and high-frequency noise in electronic circuits. These ferrite beads feature low DC resistance, high soldering heat resistance, and can be added to an inductor to improve the ability to block unwanted high-frequency noise. When blocking noise, the ferrite first concentrates the magnetic field, increasing inductance and reactance, which impedes the noise. Second, the ferrite can produce an additional loss in the form of resistance in the ferrite itself, depending on its design. TE BMC Ferrite Beads are suitable for cellular phones, automation controls, sensors, computers, and circuits where a stable ground is unavailable.
