TDK-Micronas HAL® 39xy Stray-Field Robust 3D Position Sensors

TDK-Micronas HAL® 39xy Stray-Field Robust 3D Position Sensors feature a range of products that address the requirements for ISO 26262-compliant development. These stray-field robust position sensors measure a 360° angular range as well as linear movements. The HAL 39xy modules provide setpoint linearization with either 17 variable or 33 equidistant distributed setpoints. The sensors use 3D HAL technology from TDK-Micronas to measure the position of a magnet and suppress external magnetic stray fields by using an array of Hall plates. Only a simple two-pole magnet is needed to measure a rotation angle. Off-axis measurements can also be performed. TDK-Micronas HAL 39xy Stray-Field Robust 3D Position Sensors are available in a SOIC8 package with a variety of interfaces, including SPI, SERIAL, digital, PWM, SENT, and SPC.
