TDK InvenSense SmartBug™ Expansion Board is an optional add-on board for the TDK InvenSense SmartBug, a compact, wireless multi-sensor module designed for a variety of Internet of Things (IoT) applications. This expansion board adds Wi-Fi®, an SD card, and an ultrasonic range sensor. The board includes a Wi-Fi module and an SD card slot to assist users in transmitting and storing SmartBug data. It also includes a MEMS-based ultrasonic Time-of-Flight (ToF) range sensor.
Data and outputs can be easily visualized, streamed, and recorded on a Windows 10 application, which is free to download via Microsoft. The application offers great flexibility to acquire data from BLUETOOTH® Low Energy, Wi-Fi, or USB, depending on the use-case. The SD card logging feature also allows autonomous logging of data (up to 32GB) without a Windows 10 application.
