TDK ACT1210E Common Mode Filter is designed for automotive Ethernet 10BASE-T1S and comes in a 3.2mm x 2.5mm x 2.5mm package. This filter utilizes TDK’s proprietary wire-winding structure and optimal materials to accomplish high scattering parameters (S-parameters) and a maximum line-to-line capacitance of 10pF. The ACT1210E operates in a temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. High thermal shock resistance and outstanding reliability are achieved by laser welding the winding wires to the metallizing terminals.
As the autonomous vehicle industry grows, the installation of electronic control units (ECUs) relating to safety functions, including those for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), is also increasing. Among the Ethernet telecommunication standards, 10BASE-T1S supports multidrop topologies, which enable multiple ECUs to be connected. TDK ACT1210E Common Mode Filter features characteristics suited to these 10BASE-T1S requirements while suppressing noise and improving the quality of telecommunication. The ACT1210E is compliant with AEC-Q200 Rev. D.
