STMicroelectronics X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 NFC Card Reader Expansion Board provides a demonstration and development platform for the ST25R3916B NFC Reader. The ST25R3916B is a high-performance NFC (Near-Field Communication) universal device supporting NFC initiator, NFC target, NFC reader, and NFC card emulation modes when applicable. Being fully compliant with EMVCo 3.1a analog and digital, this device is optimized for POS terminal applications and enables fast EMVCo certification cycles, even under harsh conditions.
The STMicroelectronics X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 NFC Card Reader Expansion Board features a pre-mounted ST25R3916B NFC Reader in a 5.0mm x 5.0mm VFQFPN-32 package. The Arduino Uno R3 connectors on the Expansion Board enable easy connection to the STM32 Nucleo Development Boards or other Arduino-compatible Microcontroller Boards.
The X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 Expansion Board is configured to support ISO14443A/B, ISO15693, FeliCa™, and AP2P communication. The Expansion Board also includes a 47mm x 34mm 13.56MHz PCB antenna and tuning circuit.
