STMicroelectronics STEVAL-L3751V12 Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics STEVAL-L3751V12 Evaluation Board offers a 6V to 75V wide input voltage range and features an extreme voltage conversion ratio over switching frequency. The board delivers a regulated 5V output at 230kHz switching frequency. The output voltage on the STEVAL-L3751V12 Board is quickly set to 12V using a jumper connector. Different voltage outputs are selected by changing a resistor to a lower VIN range.

The STM STEVAL-L3751V12 Board is a 100W demo board. The maximum default current is set to 15A, easily selected by changing a resistor. The board is based on the L3751 synchronous buck controller, which
implements the voltage mode in a VQFN package with internal compensation to minimize the design complexity and size.

Embedded protections, such as the output overcurrent, the input voltage UVLO, the internal voltage monitoring, and the thermal shutdown at 150°C degrees, features a controlled and safe operation for critical environments in telecom, networking, and industrial applications.

The eDesignSuite software tool is built to configure the L3751 buck converter and fulfill the application requirements.
