STMicroelectronics STEVAL-IFP043V1 Expansion Board offers a powerful and flexible environment to demonstrate the IPS2050H dual high-side smart power solid state relay. The IPS2050H is ideal for evaluating a digital output module connected to 2.5A (max.) industrial loads.

The STM STEVAL-IFP043V1 Expansion Board interfaces with the microcontroller on the STM32 Nucleo through 5kV optocouplers driven by GPIO pins, Arduino UNO R3 (default configuration), and ST morpho (optional, not mounted) connectors. The expansion board allows a connection to either a NUCLEO-F401RE or NUCLEOG431RB development board. Up to four stacked STEVALIFP043V1 expansion boards can be used to evaluate a system. For example, a system with four STEVAL-IFP043V1 expansion boards permits users to assess an eight-channel digital output module with 2.5A (max.) capability each.
