STMicroelectronics ST25RU3993-HPEV RAIN® (UHF) RFID Reader System

STMicroelectronics ST25RU3993-HPEV High-power RAIN^® (UHF) RFID Reader System allows the user to evaluate the properties and the features of ST25RU3993. The ST25RU3993 High-Performance NFC/RFID Readers are HF and NFC reader solutions that reduce design complexity and cost.

The ST25RU3993-HPEV High-power RAIN^® (UHF) RFID Reader System combines a high RF power and a low RF power RFID reader on a single PCB. The ST25RU3993-HPEV board is outfitted with several easy-to-access test points and measurement possibilities. The ST25RU3993-HPEV is controlled by a graphical user interface (GUI) running on a host PC. The corresponding interface is a USB / UART bridge (requires driver installation).

The board supports tuning the radio frequency from 840 to 960MHz and provides two SMB (male) antenna connectors controlled via the GUI. Connecting a suitable 50Ω UHF antenna for the targeted frequency range enables scanning for RAIN RFID transponders.
