STMicroelectronics FDA803S Class-D Automotive Audio Amplifier

STMicroelectronics FDA803S Class-D Automotive Audio Amplifier is specifically designed for automotive applications, especially e-Call and Telematics. The FDA803S combines a 24-bit, 100dB DAC conversion and PWM class-D output stage with feedback before the LC filter. This configuration allows the design of a compact and inexpensive application.

The STM FDA803S Class-D Automotive Audio Amplifier delivers I2S and TDM digital bit stream up to 16CH with several sampling frequencies from 8kHz up to 96kHz. The FDA803S embeds a complete diagnostic in play to sustain the most demanding OEM requirements regarding speaker control and system robustness/reliability. Additionally, the FDA803S supports start stop cranking down to 3.3V.

The FDA803S is housed in a very compact and thin QFN 5×5 package.
