STMicroelectronics EVALMASTERGAN4 Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics EVALMASTERGAN4 Evaluation Board is a demonstration and development platform for the MASTERGAN GaN Half-Bridge High Voltage Driver. The MASTERGAN4 is an advanced power system-in-package integrating a gate driver and two enhancement-mode GaN power transistors. The integrated power GaNs feature an RDS(ON) of 225mΩ and 650V drain-source breakdown voltage. The integrated bootstrap diode can quickly supply the high side of the embedded gate driver.

The STMicroelectronics EVALMASTERGAN4 Evaluation Board enables users to quickly and easily create new topologies without the need for a  complete PCB design.  The EVALMASTERGAN4 provides an onboard programmable Deadtime Generator with a single VCC supply (typically 6V). An embedded Linear Voltage Regulator offers a 3.3V rail to supply low voltage logic circuits like microcontrollers or FPGAs.

The EVALMASTERGAN4 Board includes a blank prototyping area for customization. Customizations options include using a separate input signal or single PWM signal, using an external bootstrap diode, or using a separate supply for VCC or PVCC.

All pins of the pre-installed MASTERGAN4 are accessible.
