SparkFun XBee® Development Boards offer diverse wireless options with the ability to connect to a cellular network and GNSS. These boards allow users to easily configure and control devices. The XBee development boards feature built-in Digi TrustFence® security, identity, data privacy, and multiple control layers to protect against new and evolving cyber threats. These Digi Remote Manager® and XCTU® allow users to easily configure and control devices from a central platform.
The WRL-21636 development board is designed to prototype low-power cellular IoT applications. This board uses the new Digi XBee 3 low-power LTE-M/NB-IoT, Digi XBee® RR, and any existing through-hole Digi XBee module to build a prototype. The WRL-21636 board provides access to the pin functionality of the XBee and includes two USB-C™ connectors for UART communication and firmware updates.
The WRL-22032 board is a perfect companion for any low-power cellular IoT project. This board combines all the XBee® functionality and powers Digi’s new XBee 3 modules into a single, convenient solution by bypassing a USB-C connection. The WRL-22131 Arduino shield integrates Digi’s cutting-edge XBee® 3 Low-Power LTE-M/NB-IoT and Digi XBee RR Pro modules with Arduino. This Arduino shield breaks out the functionality of the XBee module and adds the ability to connect to the cellular network and GNSS. The shield includes a USB-C™ connector and a Qwiic connector for I2C-capable sensors and peripherals. This shield also consists of a Reset button and a user-defined D0 button, the ability to power the board from the R3/R4 board, and UART selection.
The KIT-24441 Digi XBee® kit comes with an equipped Digi XBee 3 module programmed for effortless NB-IoT operation. The kit includes an XBee development board, humidity sensor breakout, and Qwiic cable. The development board prototypes low-power cellular IoT applications using the new Digi XBee 3 Low-Power LTE-M/NB-IoT, Digi XBee RR, and through-hole Digi Xbee module.
