SparkFun Qwiic Chirp 101 Ultrasonic Rangefinder (SPX-17271)

SparkFun Qwiic Chirp 101 Ultrasonic Rangefinder (SPX-17271) is a Qwiic-compatible sensor board based on the TDK InvenSense CH101 Time-of-Flight (ToF) Range Sensor. The CH101 features a range of 4cm to 1.2m and can detect multiple objects within its field of view simultaneously. This ability is made possible by an integrated system-on-chip that crunches the numbers and then provides digital range readings via I2C.

The SparkFun Qwiic Chirp 101 Ultrasonic Rangefinder is designed for easy integration into projects based on the Qwiic Connect System. The Qwiic Chirp 101 provides voltage regulation and level shifting for the pre-mounted CH101 sensor. Space around the sensor is left clear for attaching an acoustic housing.

The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This feature reduces required PCB space, and the connectors are polarized to ensure a correct hookup.
