SparkFun BOB-19389 Analog MEMS Microphone Breakout

SparkFun BOB-19389 Analog MEMS Microphone Breakout features an OpAmp to bring the output of the microphone to a usable level. This BOB-19389 board allows plugging directly into an ADC on a microcontroller. The OpAmp adds a bias voltage of 1/2VCC in addition to amplifying the signal. The AUD output signal offers a 200mV peak-to-peak output signal for sound sources such as a normal speaking voice that is a few feet away from the microphone. This BOB-19389 breakout board features 134dB SPL of acoustic overload point and 66dBV/Pa signal to noise ratio. The microphone operates at a 7Hz to 36kHz frequency range, 265µA average current consumption, and 2.3V to 3.6V supply voltage range.

Features

  • 2.3V to 3.6V supply voltage range
