Skyworks Solutions Inc. SI86Sx Digital Isolators are low-power CMOS devices offering substantial data rate, propagation delay, power, size, reliability, and external BOM advantages over legacy isolation technologies. Data rates up to 150Mbps are supported, and all devices achieve typical propagation delays of 10ns. This series of Isolators includes SPI-capable product options and options that support QSPI with a direction control pin. A sleep mode is included that helps conserve power by shutting down active circuits when enabled. Low-power mode operation options are also included that are optimized for saving power. Other ordering options include a choice of isolation ratings (3.75kVRMS and 6.0kVRMS) and product options for a fail-safe operating mode to control the default output state during power loss. All products are safety-certified by UL, CSA, VDE, and CQC.
The Skyworks Solutions Inc. SI86Sx Digital Isolators are available in compact NB SOIC-8, NB SOIC-16, QSOP-16, SSO-8, and WB SOIC-16 packages for design flexibility. Automotive Grade options are available for specific part numbers. These devices are built using automotive-specific flows at all steps in the manufacturing process to ensure the robustness and low defectivity required for automotive applications.
