Silicon Labs SLEVK1000A Evaluation Kit is designed to evaluate and characterize the EFP01 energy-friendly Power Management IC (PMIC) in the single boost configuration. This kit comes with an EFP0108 evaluation board (BRD8100A) that features an EFP0108 PMIC in the single-cell boost configuration. The SLEVK1000A kit includes a USB MicroB connector that enables connection of the BRD8100A to a computer to control the register settings and reading back data. This kit enables writing and reading of registers through the host MCU that is embedded on the board and connected to the EFP01 digital interface.
The SLEVK1000A kit incorporates an on-board SEGGER JLink debugger that provides the host MCU with a virtual COM port and debugging capabilities on the USB connector. The EFP0108 evaluation board is supported in Simplicity Studio™ and the EFP configuration tool softwares.
