Silicon Labs SiWx917 Wi-Fi 6 + BLUETOOTH® LE 5.4 Pro Kit (Si917-PK6031A) is designed to support the development of wireless IoT devices based on the SiWx917 ultra-low power SoC. The SoC includes Wi-Fi 6 + Bluetooth LE, Matter, and IP networking for cloud connectivity, security, AI/ML accelerators, and an integrated Arm® Cortex®-M4 with FPU for application code development. Si917-PK6031A consists of a radio board and a main board. The radio board includes the SiWx917 Wi-Fi 6 SoC, an on-chip antenna, and an option for micro u.FL connector for external antennas. The main board contains an onboard J-Link debugger with a Packet Trace Interface and a Virtual COM port, enabling application development and debugging of the attached radio board and external hardware through an expansion header.
The Pro Kit brings out the SiWx917 SoC peripherals to headers and includes the capability to measure the ultra-low-power consumption of the SiWx917 SoC using the AEM feature available in Simplicity Studio essential for battery-based designs. All the necessary tools for developing hostless single-chip high-volume, scalable, ultra-low-power Wi-Fi 6 wireless IoT solutions are provided.
