Sharp Microelectronics GP2AP Time-of-Flight (ToF) Sensor

Sharp Microelectronics GP2AP Time-of-Flight (ToF) Sensor combines a single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) detector with an infrared vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (IR-VCSEL) emitter. This all-in-one device comes in a small package that measures 4.0mm x 2.2mm x 1.5mm. The module offers a 940nm peak wavelength of a VCSEL and 33ms ranging speed. It is specialized for short-range use, offering short-range characteristic improvement and auto SPAD position adjustment. Sharp Microelectronics GP2AP ToF Sensor has a 2.6V to 3.6V operating supply voltage with 10mA average current consumption.
