SANMOTION Model PB Closed-Loop Stepping Systems combine the ease-of-use functions of stepping motors and the reliability of servo motors. A position-detecting encoder mounted on the stepping motor delivers feedback to the closed-loop control system. This simple system provides a highly efficient and more reliable drive than open loop stepping systems. Other features include reduced positioning time, low vibration, energy savings, and stable stopping.
