ROHM Semiconductor BD91N01NUX USB Type-C™ Sink Port Protection IC

ROHM Semiconductor BD91N01NUX USB Type-C™ Sink Port Protection IC is designed for USB Type-C Rev2.1 applications that require sink power. When a Type-C plug is inserted, the BD91N01NUX enters a stand-alone operation that supplies power from VBUS to the system. Through this device, a Type-C interface can be introduced to receive voltage and current of up to 5V/3A, which is the Type-C standard. The BD91N01NUX can be used in applications that operate up to 15W of power. The BD91N01NUX features a P-channel MOSFET switch control function which protects the next stage system side circuit from VBUS over-voltage and under-voltage.                     

The ROHM Semiconductor BD91N01NUX USB Type-C Sink Port Protection IC is offered in a tiny VSON010X3020 package, ideal for space-constrained applications.
