Riverdi 7″ and 10.1″ EVE4 IPS TFT Displays are powered by BT817Q advanced graphics controller and incorporate the fourth generation of Embedded Video Engine (EVE) technology. These 10.1″ and 7″ TFT displays exhibit 1280x800px and 1024x600px respective resolutions. The high resolutions provide crisp and clear colors. The EVE4 TFT displays feature typical surface luminance of up to 1000cd/m² and QSPI/SPI interfaces. The full viewing angles allow the user to interact with the display in a natural and intuitive way from every side. These EVE4 display boards were designed with special attention paid to electromagnetic compatibility, a design that gives them a high immunity to external electromagnetic signals.
The Bridgetek BT817Q controller on EVE4 IPS TFT displays features an advanced EVE user interface that combines the processing of images, sound, and information from the touch panel. These display modules support the Adaptive Scalable Texture Compression (ASTC) algorithm. This means the image quality can be enhanced significantly without the need for greater bandwidth, which in turn saves up significant areas of memory space.
The Riverdi EVE4 boards are equipped with a separate flash memory chip that is connected via a dedicated QSPI interface to the BT817Q controller. This flash memory chip in the EVE4 board is capable of holding up to 270 JPEG files for 3.5” displays and up to 110 JPEG files for 10.1” displays. The EVE4 displays are also equipped with an onboard audio amplifier and the pin-10 in the RiBUS connector allows for bidirectional transmission of the acoustic signals.
