Renesas Electronics RAA2S425XKIT Evaluation Kit is a demonstration and development platform for the RAA2S425x Automotive Sensor Signal Conditioners. The RAA2S425x devices are optimized for use in automotive pressure sensing systems. The RAA2S425x devices provide highly accurate amplification and sensor-specific correction of signals in automotive xEV, EV, and FCEV pressure-sensing braking, transmission, and HVAC systems.
The Renesas Electronics RAA2S425XKIT Evaluation Kit features a Zero Input Force (ZIF) QFN socket for the RAA2S425x device. The Evaluation Kit can be connected to a PC using the USB type-B connector. The onboard FTDI chip handles the data communication. A galvanically isolated power supply and dual channel digital isolator power the rest of the board and provides a secure communication channel. A Renesas RX651 Microcontroller handles the OWI and I2C communication with the RAA2S425x and UART communication with the FTDI device.
Once connected to a PC, the Graphic User Interface (GUI) evaluation software can be used to demonstrate the target device and adjust its settings.
An Extension Board (RAA2S4252EXT) is also available for use with the Evaluation Kit.
