Renesas Electronics FPB-RA6E1 Evaluation Kit is a demonstration and development platform for the RA6E1 32-Bit Microcontroller (MCU) Group. The RA6E1 MCUs feature a high-performance 200MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core and a highly-optimized feature set. These MCUs feature up to 1MB Code Flash memory with dual-bank, background, and SWAP operation, 8KB Data Flash memory, and 256KB SRAM with Parity. These highly integrated devices include many connectivity options, including Ethernet with integrated MAC, USB 2.0 Full-Speed, SPI, and Quad SPI, I2C, and CAN 2.0B. The RA6E1 MCUs also incorporate Arm TrustZone® security and safety features, a 12-bit A/D Converter (ADC12), and a 12-bit D/A Converter (DAC12).
The Renesas Electronics FPB-RA6E1 Evaluation Kit includes a pre-installed RA6E1 MCU, a USB interface that can connect to a PC, an onboard debugger, and connections for expansion options. Users can develop embedded systems applications using the Flexible Software Package (FSP).
The Renesas Electronics RA Flexible Software Package (FSP) provides a quick and versatile way to build secure connected IoT devices using the Renesas RA Family of Arm microcontrollers. FSP provides production-ready peripheral drivers, FreeRTOS, and middleware stacks to take advantage of the FSP ecosystem.
