Renesas Electronics EK-RE01 Evaluation Kits

Renesas Electronics EK-RE01 Evaluation Kits offer a demonstration and development platform for the RE01 32-Bit Microcontroller Group. The RE01 MCUs are based on Silicon on Thin Buried Oxide (SOTB) technology, offering ultra-low current consumption in both active and standby mode, and high-speed operation (64MHz) at low voltage (1.62V). The Renesas Electronics RE01 MCUs can significantly extend battery life and deliver high performance even when used with small batteries and energy harvester power supplies that can supply only a small amount of current.

Features

  • All peripheral functions of RE01 MCUs, including energy harvesting, can be evaluated with the power generation elements, the secondary battery connection interface, and the sample code provided by Renesas.
  • Arduino Uno Header and PMOD interface supported: enable evaluation of an energy harvesting system combined with the user’s hardware system.
  • On-board debug function supported: enable program debugging by simply connecting the included USB cable to a host PC.
