RECOM Power RPX-1.0 and RPX-1.5 Buck Converters feature a tiny 3mm x 5mm x 1.6mm QFN package that has been thermally enhanced using flip-chip technology. These modules are unique because the devices include an integrated shielded inductor for lower EMI. The inputs range from 4VDC to 36VDC, while each converter provides 1A or 1.5A of output current, and the output voltage can be trimmed within the ranges of 0.8VDC up to 30VDC using an external resistor. These buck converters have SCP, OCP, OTP, and ULVO protection, as well as enable, power good, soft-start, and sync function capabilities. RECOM Power RPX-1.0 and RPX-1.5 Buck Converters are an ideal cost-effective option for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), industrial controls, medical and imaging equipment, and high-density power systems applications.
Each series also has a compatible evaluation board for quick and convenient functional design testing, including control, power good, train, output sense, and overload or overtemperature behaviors. The boards contain the filter components needed to meet EMC Class B levels.
