RECOM Power RACM40-K and RACM40-K/OF AC/DC Converters deliver 40W of output power from -40°C to +60°C/+65°C with natural air convection only and up to +85°C with derating or forced air cooling. These ultra-compact industrial + household + medical grade AC/DC converters focus on extended thermal performance for systems where space is limited. RECOM Power RACM40-K series features encapsulated modules measuring 46.43mm x 83.23mm x 30.40mm (1.8″ x 3.2″ x 1.2″). The RACM40-K/OF series includes low-profile units with a 40.6mm x 78.3mm (1.6″ x 3″) standard footprint.
RECOM Power RACM40-K and RACM40-K/OF AC/DC Converters have ANSI/AAMI/IEC 60601-1 medical safety and EN 60601-1-2 medical EMC certifications. The devices also offer 4kVAC/1min isolation, 2MOPP, and are designed to meet B and BF requirements. The compact modules are certified IEC/EN 62368-1, IEC61010, and IEC61558-1/-2-16 for industrial applications and IEC/EN 60335-1 for household appliances. A robust built-in class B EMC filter has sufficient margin to allow Class II or Class I PELV with grounded output installations.
Typical applications include medical, home health care, household equipment, industrial, and harsh environments.
