PUI Audio HD-VA Linear Haptic Actuators

PUI Audio HD-VA Linear Haptic Actuators are designed as an improvement over traditional DC-based vibration technology. The devices provide reliable tactile feedback using the same electromagnetic principles as a speaker, but instead of a paper cone moving air, a moving mass is used to deliver vibrations. These actuators deliver quick response times over a wide frequency range. The HD-VA2527 device has a cylindrical form (∅25mm x 27mm) and 2.61Gp-p acceleration at 65Hz, while the HD-VA3222 features a compact, flat design with 2.5Gp-p acceleration at 133Hz. PUI Audio HD-VA Linear Haptic Actuators offer at least a 2x improvement in response time compared to eccentric rotating mass devices, with multiple dynamic yet reliable feedback modes in one.
